Manateekie Boyby ~talvikki77

Since there are selkies, couldn't there also be manateekies?

This is for the Manga/Anime Super Mini Repeating Contest [link] for the end of February, themed manatee. A manateekie boy slipping out of his skin to go get help from a landlubbin' healer, after being injured by boat propellers. Because when I think of manatees, first thing I think of are all the campaigns to get people to stop running them over with motorboats. Yeah..I was quite an environmentalist when I was a kid.

I think I want to color this with markers and colored pencils. Soz I'll have to get Ulrich to bring home his colored pencils on the weekend.. *pretty please*

yeah, it is kind of Xanthian. I was thinking of incorporating it into the Planet..you know, selkies in the north, manateekies in the tropics (and dugongies?? O.o), but I don't know yet. It might be fun to do something with the whole manatee/mermaid dealie too.
