Hey. I know it's been a long time..in fact, last time I was on dA was before my daughter was born (hm wonder why that might be? ) But lately I have been thinking about art a lot..specifically, anime, Otakon, Wild Honor and comics. Various reasons for this..coming across and going into a frenzy over anime on Netflix, seeing one of my students reading manga and drawing pictures, general yearning to do something besides work and take care of my baby....Anyway, I have been thinking mostly about Wild Honor [link] Don't know why, but I've been thinking about it. For the past few years I haven't felt like working on anything sff because I've felt like there was no point..I wanted to address issues and do something to change the world, not wallow in fantasy. But I never had big plans for WH to begin with..it was just kinda something to mess around with, and post on Elfwood for the heck of it..and now with all my real life stress I think I need some escapist fantasy to help me relax..so..I may do some work on WH. In bits and pieces, when I have time.

As for the titular pikshur...it is a quick drawing of Windsong. To be posted to scraps when my sketchbook and a scanner are in the same place at the same time....
